Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using pdfmundo at pdfmundo.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service is operated by ADVAITA OÜ, a private limited company (osaühing) registered in Estonia under registry code 17568302, with its registered office at Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. These Terms apply to all users, including free users, paid subscribers, and visitors. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the most current version of these Terms. ADVAITA OÜ is represented by Milan Taraba, Member of the Management Board. Full provider details are in the imprint.
2. Description of Service
pdfmundo is a browser-based PDF processing tool offering 29 utilities including compression, conversion, merging, splitting, editing, OCR, and form filling. All file processing occurs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. No file data is transmitted to our servers.
3. License Grant
Free Tier
Free users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use pdfmundo for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the daily conversion limit and 50 MB file size cap.
Day Pass ($1.99)
Day Pass purchasers are granted a 24-hour limited license for unlimited conversions and 200 MB file size, including commercial use, expiring automatically after 24 hours from the time of purchase.
Credits Pack ($4.99)
Credits purchasers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to perform 50 conversions with no expiration, files up to 200 MB, for both personal and commercial purposes.
Pro Monthly ($5.99/mo) and Pro Annual ($49/annual)
Pro subscribers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for unlimited commercial use with no daily conversion cap within the applicable plan limits.
4. Prohibited Uses
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to circumvent daily conversion limits, file size limits, or any access controls
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except where permitted by mandatory law for interoperability)
- Upload or process files containing malicious code, malware, or content depicting the exploitation of minors
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service
- Process files you do not have the legal right to process or distribute
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the HTML-to-PDF tool to embed phishing links or malicious external resources

We are not the seller. Lemon Squeezy, LLC is the merchant of record for every paid plan: you buy from Lemon Squeezy, at their checkout, under their terms, which you accept there. They set and collect the price, determine and charge any tax due where you are, and issue your invoice. ADVAITA OÜ operates the Service and is not a party to your purchase.
This matters beyond billing: your rights as a buyer — withdrawal, refunds, and cancelling a subscription — run against Lemon Squeezy, under their terms, not these. We do not restrict, waive or add conditions to those rights. Our Cancel a purchase page explains how to exercise them, and you can always simply write to us at [email protected].
The price shown at Lemon Squeezy's checkout, tax included, is the price you pay. The prices in the table above are indicative; the checkout price governs.
Pro Monthly and Pro Annual renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms — we set no refund policy of our own, because you did not pay us.
What these Terms cover is what happens on our side. When a plan ends — because a subscription lapses or is cancelled, or because Lemon Squeezy refunds the purchase — we treat it as ended and your licence key is no longer accepted. We do not reach into your browser to revoke it, so the effect depends on the plan: unused Credits stop at your next conversion, because each credit is checked with Lemon Squeezy as you spend it; a Day Pass already active in your browser runs to the end of its 24 hours; and Pro already active in your browser continues until the validity period it last received ends, then reverts to the free tier. Files you have already produced are unaffected — they are on your own device, not with us.
6. Liability
The Service is supplied in conformity with Article 7 of Directive (EU) 2019/770: it is as described in these Terms, fit for the purposes for which a service of this kind is ordinarily used, and supplied with the updates Article 8 requires. If it is not in conformity, you have the statutory remedies in Articles 14 to 16 — having it brought into conformity, a proportionate reduction in price, or termination. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits those remedies, and nothing below is intended to. Remedies that belong to the seller — refunds and withdrawal — are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms; the conformity of the Service itself is ours.
These limits never apply. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, for fraudulent concealment of a defect, under any guarantee we have given, under applicable product liability law, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including, where you are a consumer, your statutory rights. None of these is capped. Where we negligently breach an obligation essential to performing this contract and on which you may reasonably rely, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for a contract of this kind.
Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business. Because your files are processed on your own device and never reach us, check every output file before you rely on it.
Otherwise, and only so far as our liability may lawfully be limited, it is capped at the greater of the total fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or five hundred euro. The fees are measured on what you actually paid Lemon Squeezy for your plan, because no payment reaches us directly and a cap measured by what you paid us would be nil in every case.
This allocation reflects that the Service is a file-processing tool supplied for a modest fee or for nothing.
7. Intellectual Property
The pdfmundo and ADVAITA OÜ names, logos, design, and codebase are the intellectual property of the Service operator. You retain all rights to the files you process. We claim no ownership over your input or output files.
8. Copyright / DMCA
Since pdfmundo does not store or host user files, we do not host infringing content. If you believe our Service itself infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected].
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. That is a decision about use of the Service; it does not alter your purchase or any refund, which are matters for Lemon Squeezy. Sections 6 (Liability) and 10 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected]; we aim to respond within 14 days and to resolve complaints directly. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or of Estonia, and we will bring proceedings against you only in the courts of your country of residence, in accordance with Articles 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012. If you use the Service for purposes relating to a trade, business or profession, the courts of Estonia have exclusive jurisdiction. None of this affects your right to bring a claim before a court.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, in accordance with Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
12. Force Majeure
ADVAITA OÜ shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including internet infrastructure failures, CDN outages, or browser vendor policy changes that affect the Service.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
