About rotating PDFs
Rotating a PDF reorients every page by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. This is useful when a scanner produced upside-down output, when phone-captured pages came in sideways, or when you simply need landscape pages displayed as portrait. pdfmundo's rotate tool reads the PDF, applies the rotation to all pages at once, and writes a new file. The rotation is lossless — page content, fonts, images, and embedded data are preserved exactly. Only the page orientation flag changes. Unlike most online rotate tools, pdfmundo does all the work in your browser. Your file never travels to a server, never gets stored, and never leaves your device. This makes it safe for sensitive documents that you'd never want to upload.

- Can I rotate individual pages instead of all of them?
- The current version rotates all pages at once. Per-page rotation is on the roadmap.
- Is my file safe?
- Yes. Your file is processed entirely in your browser. It never gets uploaded, never gets stored, and never leaves your device. We can't see your file — we don't have access to it.
- Will my PDF lose quality after rotation?
- No. Rotation is lossless. We don't re-render or re-encode anything — only the page orientation metadata changes. Text, images, and fonts are byte-identical to the original.
- What's the maximum file size?
- 50 MB for in-browser processing. Larger files require more memory than browsers can reliably handle.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The tool is completely free to use without signing up.
