The output files produced by pdfmundo — operated under the trading name Lovely Mundo — ("the Service") are provided for informational and practical convenience purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate conversions, we make no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Service or its outputs.
No Warranty on Output Files
Output files are produced by automated software processes, including WebAssembly-compiled libraries with known technical limitations. We explicitly do not warrant that:
- Converted files are pixel-perfect representations of the original
- Text extraction or OCR is 100% accurate
- Tables, forms, signatures, or annotations survive conversion unchanged
- Fonts and styling are preserved exactly across formats
- Metadata (author, timestamps, custom fields) is preserved or stripped as expected
- Encrypted or password-protected files will process correctly
- Files above approximately 200 MB will process without memory limits being hit
Technical Limitations You Should Know
OCR Accuracy
Optical Character Recognition is not perfect. Scanned PDFs with low resolution, handwriting, unusual fonts, or non-standard layouts may produce errors. Always proofread OCR output before relying on it.
Large File Limitations
Files above approximately 200 MB may fail to process due to WebAssembly memory limits in the browser. Browser-dependent variation applies — Safari is more restrictive than Chrome or Firefox. We recommend Chrome or Edge on desktop for large files.
Format Conversion Limitations
Some conversions are inherently lossy. PDF → Word, PDF → Excel, and PDF → PowerPoint involve heuristic layout reconstruction; expect some formatting drift. Vector graphics in PDFs may be rasterized in some output formats.
Browser-Dependent Behaviour
Conversion results may vary between browsers due to differences in WebAssembly heap size limits and JavaScript engines. We recommend Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on desktop for production use.
Business-Critical Use Warning
DO NOT USE FILES CONVERTED BY PDFMUNDO IN LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, OR CONTRACTUAL APPLICATIONS WITHOUT INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: LEGAL FILINGS, COURT EVIDENCE, FINANCIAL RECORDS, MEDICAL DOCUMENTATION, GOVERNMENT SUBMISSIONS, OR ANY APPLICATION WHERE INACCURACY COULD RESULT IN LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR PERSONAL HARM.

pdfmundo is not affiliated with Adobe, Microsoft, or any other PDF or office suite vendor and makes no warranty that converted files will function correctly with any specific third-party application.

Your Responsibilities — Checklist
- Verify the content and formatting of output files visually before use
- Proofread OCR output for accuracy before relying on extracted text
- Confirm you have the legal right to process any file you submit
- Do not use converted files in legal or financial applications without independent verification
- Test with a small sample before bulk-processing important documents
- Check that downstream tools (Word, Excel, etc.) correctly open the output file before relying on it
